Message from the Associate Administrator for Mission Support

Welcome to the Mission Support Directorate (MSD) home page. Our goal in MSD is to provide effective and efficient institutional support to enable the Agency to successfully accomplish its missions. We focus on reducing institutional risk to NASA’s current and future missions by improving processes, stimulating efficiency, and providing consistency and uniformity across institutional capabilities and services.

We ensure that personnel competencies and facility capabilities required to meet NASA’s strategic needs are identified and provided across the Agency and that NASA Headquarters is provided all the institutional services and products necessary to support effective operations.
